Nearly 23 years with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Retired as a Supervisory Special Agent and Certified Fire Investigator, serving as a National Response Team Supervisor and an International Response Team member.

More than 700 fire and explosion scene investigations, including 65 large-loss fires with ATF's National and International Response Teams. Reviewed more than 1,200 origin and cause investigations. Testified as an expert witness in fire origin and cause in federal and state venues.
